blocked access to certain sites

Hi All

Im about to allow my 12 year old daughter have internet access in her room so as you can imagine I need to block her acces to certain websites, how do I go about doing this?

if you go into internet options > content > then click enable by content advisor. it will give you a list of different things. you will need to click on each one on the list and adjust the slider underneath accordingly and it will ask you to set a password. Your daughter will not be able to access it then without knowing the password!
Hi, I use the following free program called naomi, it works by shutting down the web browser when most undisireable things are typed in. it can somtimes shut it down when using legit sites but overall is very good & does what it says on the label..

it's free it will block all bad sites and you can allow sites if you wish to either for one time or for good
Password protected and easy to use
on K9 Web protection make sure your kids cant access the email you set it up with otherwise they can request a password reset, check you email and turn K9 off!
These programmes may help reduce access to web sites but what if your daughter tries to access chat rooms etc, as this is often where �grooming� is most prevalent. Do these programs block access to this type of activity?
