I have a Netgear wireless router and want to change the password ( have lost the original ) Having just got a laptop with wireless I need to have a password

if the password has never been changed from new it will probably be

username: admin
password: password

if it has been changed you'll need to hold the reset button on the back in for about 5seconds to reset the router, be warned though this will also clear all your connection settings from the router so you'll have to enter your username and password for the internet connection back into the router again.
