Hi,
Yes I,ve been with them since 2003.Like most others they have good periods and bad.For the last few weeks they have been quite good (touch wood).Several weeks ago they upped my speed from 1.1 to 7.3 without any prompting by me.There are occasions when its difficult to connect to Internet though, but they normally resolve these issues within an hour or so.I dont think you will find many people praising them though, check the Tiscali forums, lots of disgruntled customers.
Regards
Had it for a few years at a few properties.

To be honest, I've heard bad things about them from others, but I've never had any issues with them.

Good service, good price, good speed.
Have been with them for 3 years and have no grumbles.
Been with them for years. Very few probs.

Thanks for all your replies - I'm happier now I've heard from others who have used Tiscali.

Cheers :D
No problems with their ISP technical service, but getting hold of their accounts department when things go wrong, which is based out of a PO Box near Inverness, is a nightmare. It uses an 0870 service that is impossible to bypass and is rarely staffed adequately for the volume of calls it receives. This department and the Customer Services Department appears to just ignore letters (even ones with enclosed cheques).
I agree with buildersmate as we have had account problems, but my daughter who is with AOL seems to have many more problems with them, than I do with Tiscali (touches wood again)
Regards
Yes I had Tiscali dial up, then Broadband for years too and encountered no problems with the service.
\\\\worst isp ever - they were absolutely useless. Customer service sucks as do the connection speeds. Never recomend them to anyone ever .
I have this but would not recommend it. If you have any problem and ring up you are kept waiting for ages and then you can't understand what they are saying, think all the calls go to India. rubbish.
i`ve just answered a similar question on the technology section

in shortness dont sign up a new contract , infact get out of tiscali
if you upgrade you will have nothing but problems, there sys cant handle the high speeds and you will be stuck in a new 12 months contract (like i did and many many others)
go on there homepage and then the forums then the broadband help support and see everyones problems there have , there all the same
disconnections slowness etc etc etc

the call center is a waste of time calling india up at 60p per min and on for at least 30 mins and there english is as bad as it comes and reading from a script

if i was you which i am going to do when my contract is up is getting away from tiscali

try a propper isp eg "be" there suppose to be top dog

as i said i`ve made a posting under technology to have a read

good luck

well this ugly company has given me problems now for over 2 weeks

NO broadband for 2 weeks now, there blaming BT

i hope i can get to the 28 days without service then i will exercise my rights to get out of this contract for no service for 28 days

this is the worst ISP kicking about

2 weeks with no broadband

a complete joke

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
still no broadband , week 3 now

says it all about this crap co , ringing cancellations tomorrow , getting out of this contract

again all this is the worst isp kicking about , KEEP AWAY , you have been warned , so its up to you`s if you want problems
at long last free from them.
allowed me to leave free of charge still in the contract ,

good bye tiscali , i never want to see your ugly face again

Sorry richierich to hear you've had such a bad time with Tiscali. Up to now (touch wood) we've had no problems so will just continue for now. Hope you have better luck with your next broadband provider. Thanks to all who've replied. :D
