New laptop connection
OK, I'm gonna say at the start, I haven't looked at all the documentation, wizards etc yet. I only got it Friday, had to charge, then run down, the battery, and only today got around to making the back up discs, and I have had loads of other stuff to do besides. And, as I have this connection anyway on my desktop, it hasn't exactly been urgent.
Question is, obviously I want to connect the laptop. Now I thought it would be easy but it is harder than I thought it would be. I have a secure wireless connection but anyone got any idea how I get the laptop to recognise this?

No, it can't see any connection, even tho one is there. Also, my desktop recognises other nearby (secure) connections (neighbours), so I thought my laptop would do the same.
I'm trying to run before I can walk here, just wish I had more time to check it out properly - I thought the wizard would find the network, and all I had to do was enter the key number to access it but so far no.
