I have AVG free security anti virus,antispyware e mail scanner link scanner resident shield and auto updates... Can I take OFF Windows Firewall, virus protection and auto updates ? I only do a bit of banking,buying and e mails, Thats all. Thanks

Rojash.....As a newbe I put it on technology. I LOOKED for it on "Internet" (where I wanted it) and it wasn't there..I tried "computers" and "Electronics and it wasn't there either so to be sure it was on, I put it on "Internet" where it should have been in the first place. Try not to lose any sleep over it.

There are a number of us (Rojash, ACtheTroll, me and others) who try to answer all the "computer" based questions.

It is very annoying to spend ages answering a question in say Technology, then find the same question in Internet that has aleady been answered by five people.

I know we can all make mistakes, but it is annoying if people make a habit of it (I am not saying you do).
