I have recently opened a Yahoo e-mail account. I can access it without any problems if I go through the Yahoo web-site. However, I would like to add the account to my e-mail client (Incredimail) so that I can control all of my e-mail accounts through one program.

I have tried adding it to Incrediamil and Outlook Express (both the latest versions) following Yahoo's instructions for Incoming and Outgoing servers. Unfortunately neither program can access my Yahoo account. I've checked my username and password and they are both correct. I've tried using my ISP server instead of the Yahoo one and still no joy.

My ISP is Blueyonder and I run Windows 98 SE. Can anyone help, please?

Have you done the settings right they should be.

pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk

and

smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk

Thats it, just like peanut said. I use incredimail and yahoo and its fine. look on the yahoo page for the email setting. they are for Outlook, but you should be able to work it out for Imail. (Tools -> accounts -> add) then fill in (choose "configure myself")

Hope this has helped you.
