I've tried Comuter & Electronics site with no replies so trying you guys:-
I wish to view contents (sound & vision) of my Packard Bell Easynote MZ36-T-015 Laptop on my Samsung LE37A457 CID LCD TV.
Both have an VGA connector point.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to connect with just a VGA cable and what setting would need to be changed (either in laptop or tv)
Thanks in advance

yes you can connect VGA lead

Put TV on correct input channel for PC and press FN + F3 on laptop.

If you want sound through TV you will need a separate audio lead too.

Thanks Chuck, Not being technically minded, how do I knoe which TV channel to us for PC? Thanks in advance...Tel
Generally it is AV .
Try to set your TV in AV mode to show your computer contents on it.
on my laptop it's F4 (Chuck made a mistake?)
my TV has a dedicated PC station but simply keep pressing your source button on the remote until you see the contents of your PC screen on the TV.

Now i will wait for Chuck to come and tell me i have a dodgy keyboard lol.
