Copy and paste to a spreadsheet

I have a large Adobe Reader Spreadsheet that I can't seem to copy and paste on to a fresh spreadsheet to annotate it. Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

In Acrobat Reader, select Tools then Basic and finally the Select tool. You can highlight any text in the pdf. Right click and select Copy to Clipboard. You can now paste into Excel or Word.

Thanks, I've done that but can't get the "paste" function to highlight on the spreadsheet.
Try Ctrl C to copy and then Ctrl V to paste. Sorry that's all I can come up with!
