Blackberry Costs

I'm thinking about getting a Blackberry, but I've heard that there's an extra cost that you have to pay to Blackberry every month for their services in addition to what you pay your network provider. Is this true? I can't find any information about this on the Orange web site.

I want the Panther 30 tarriff, which is £30 and according to http://www.mobiles.co...berry-8520-curve.html I'd be getting unlimited internet usage as well as free push e-mail, so would I actually have to pay anything of top of that for my internet and push e-mail?

Im with Vodafone and when i got my Blackberry Storm i had to pay an extra £5 per month on top of my contract to get the use of the Blackberry mail service. A friend of mine though argued with Vodafone about paying it and they let him off, lucky git!
I guess it depends if you are lucky or not?!
