Internet Problem

The Evesham lap top we have is failing to access the internet and we are getting the message "use hardware switch" Everything I have checked says the wireless connection is switched on but still a big red cross in the connection box.
Any help much appreciated

Have you tried pressing Fn + F10 together?

Presumably any details about the model of laptop that would help anyone answer this are classified?

Look for a key on the keyboard that has a symbol that resembles an antenna, hold down the FN key and press the key with the antenna on it.

Many thanks for you advice I will try both. The computer is an Evesham Voyager and a bit long in the tooth. I may have to get the boss lady a new one.
