can you identify a typeface for me please

Please could any of you geek boys and girls (and I say that in a good way:) identify a typeface for me, the one that spells Maru Motel on the title card of this little film:

If you need to see more examples showing more letters, look at the most recent clips on Maru's Mum's channel, where she uses the same typeface:

Thanks!

Chuck that site looks brilliant - there's a forum of font detectives for when the automatic what-the-font tool fails...! I'll try that at a later point, will be away much from the puta so don't want to start anything right now but that looks promising! (or did you already try the forum as well and not just the automatic tool?)
You wanna keep me off AB for days, Spare? ;-) (Just kidding. Thanks:)
Aww wolf do say hi to Schutzengel-Frankie from me won't you. I haven't changed my mind about Facebook but if you could just wave to Frankie Survivor from me that would be great:)
I like that Plume typeface John, well done, I may well use it for something else. Thanks also for sharing the article where Stockholm is mentioned. Yes it's a fine city - you can even buy Scottish water here...! No I'm not joking - I did, today. I was at The English Shop http://www.englishshop.se/ to check their Dunoon mugs out and I was so thirsty I had to get some water right there and then - and it was from Ochil Hills. (Not that I know where that is, but it's Scottish, that much I know.) Excellent water:)

Huh, fancy that, I've had wolf water today:) Sweden is insanely cold and dark in the winter with ridiculously short days. I hate it. (But I love my country as such.) And totally lovely in the summer - sometimes TOO hot - and long and light summer nights when the sun never sets (well it does, but in June it's dark for just a couple of hours). I once read that the Swedish climate is close to that of Hokkaido.
It's an oblong and long country so the climate varies a lot. Up north they had their first snow yesterday... but here in Stockholm I still wear a thin, unbuttoned jacket. Originally I'm from the southernmost part of Sweden and I remember one New Year's Eve when the temperature was exactly the same as it had been on Midsummer Night's Eve...!

This is the pic I tried on the site I linked to earlier.

If you want to take some screen captures of the other YouTube vids and throw them at the site yourself it might give some valid results with a wider range of letters.

Oh wow I didn't know that, Scotman. <but them Scots don't have no midnight sun mwhahahaha>
Prudie that's fantastic, thanks so much just for trying!
Snags, thanks. Scotman already tried that site with no luck - seems like a good one, though:)
Yes it does a bit jomifl and the thought had occurred to me but she would have to be a robot to write it so consistently - there are several other videos with the same kind of title card exactly but other words. I think it's a "real" typeface. Could be wrong, of course.
Thanks Chuck yes I'll do that, and if that doesn't help I'll try their forum. Just don't want to get anything started right now as I don't know (right now) when I'll be able to use my computer the next time.
Thanks everyone, you're just amazing.

Could be some mysterious project, wolf, could be... *pulls cloak and dagger a little closer* Not sure I understand your software idea. The title card is - I believe - just an ordinary Word (or something) document. If the typeface were included in Word, some ABer would have recognised it by now. If Maru's Mum is using some other word processor, how would I know without her telling me. (And, as I said earlier on, I have tried to make contact with her but she hasn't replied, which is understandable considering the amount of followers Maru has.) Hm, maybe I misunderstand what you're saying, wolf, I'm not a puta whiz kid.
Yes a very long shot, A.Guest;-) (I think my only chance is that somebody would recognise the font.) Thanks anyways, and thanks everyone. I'll have a go in the forum on Chuck's site later on, that might work:)

Swedeheart,
I have nothing further to offer about the font. I'm afraid you are on your own now.
Could you take a screen print from the video then go into some local printers and ask them.
Also, I feel my joke about summer fell on stony Swedish ground. I will need to put smileys or something in with my jokes from now on.
Also, it is true that I no longer see the midnight sun but when I was growing up I did. It is nice but the price you pay in winter is very high.
I have subscribed to this thread so I will see when anyone identifies that font.
Good Luck

Not too sure how I came by the name of this text. Could it be "FF Eureka Mono Condensed"?
Here is the cute little guy's blog - http://sisinmaru.blog17.fc2.com/
I noticed that Maru is a Scottish Fold cat - he is a bit of a bruiser. But he looks almost as cute as my little boy - Frankie de Tom Cat.

'snot that one, wolf... Aww, Maru, what a guy, his own blog and everything, isn't he just so clever. Love that piccy with his hind feet pressed against the translucent box<3
Okay everybody: As you were. I'm confident I'll get some results on Chuck's site once I get around to it, it's just that my computer access is limited right now and I don't want to start anything at that forum and maybe not be able to follow it up, that's all. I will however do it as soon as it's practicable for me and if I get a result I'll post it here for you scotman and for anybody else that might be interested. (No worries scotman, I even have to put smileys around my spoken, live jokes;-)
