Just after "taking notice" of my BT bill online there and I am realising I am paying twice the price for the phone bill of what it was this time last year. The recent bill is £49.93 - I know this includes the broadband of which I only use for about an hour or two. Anybody advise of cheaper lines. I was with TalkTalk but since I use a lot of "RENS" ie flashing lights from two phones one up and down talktalk could not cope with the above RENS. I think nearly £50 a month is extortionate. Also is it troublesome to perhaps go over to SKY for everything. Thanks for any advice.

Lots of alternative packages available which include line rental, broadband and unlimited phonecalls. Google "phone and broadband packages" - should get one for half your current cost.
