I have been using Windows Media Player since i have had my computer, and always used my keyboards 'extra' buttons, like the play, stop and skip buttons.
I am now using WinAmp and these buttons do not work with this, only with Media Player.
Is there anyway i can change this? Winamp is set as my default now, and the volume buttons still work on there.

Assuming you are using the new winamp (modern skins), go to Options -> Preferences -> Global Hotkeys and select Enabled. The "extra" keys on your keyboard should now work. Let us know if this helps. PM
PS - The volume buttons would work, because these adjust the volume in windows, not in winamp.
