Transferring photo

What is the best way of inserting a photo into a posting on AB, please? It's on my computer in Picasa.

You need to upload it to a photo sharing site, then post a link

It's pretty quick and easy to set up a Photobucket account...

Thanks Answerprancer and jno. The problem is that it's not a very good photo - I deleted it by mistake from my camera card before I'd cropped it - and I don't particularly want it to be widely available on the web. It's a pic of a rose that I want to identify. I think I'll take another one tomorrow and then try your suggestions.

there are so many gazillions of photos on the internet that 'widely available' doesn't mean anything much. If you don't caption it, nobody will come across it via a search engine; if they happen on it by chance because the cat walked across the keyboard, they still won't know what it is or who posted it. And after a while it will be deleted if people have stopped looking at it. So don't be shy.

OK, thanks. If another bud hasn't opened by tomorrow I may bite the bullet! Only I've taken a few decent photos in the past and this one is definitely not up to standard (or perhaps I should say, not up to HT....)
