Use IE, which is proving to be slow and slower, when send any e mail, a very odd thing is happening, you send the e mail, doesn't appear to have been sent, then has half the screen with message IE cannot display this message, with the IE logo X through it. But the messages do go, two boxes with say go back to message and something else, you click on to see if the message has gone, and it has. Not sure if this makes any sense, its been doing it for the last few weeks. Add to that the green bar at the base of the screen to tell you connectivity to the web is slow, does this mean everything is running slow, one last thing, is when on AB, windows shuts it down, message says not secure or something, then reopens, after a minute, i am baffled, any one know or even understand whats going on

perhaps put this out to early, anyone help, know please.
Going by your question it seems that you need to do a good all round clean of the computer. Download,"Advanced Systems Care" and set it to a full scan, this will delete all cookies etc it will also do a disc fragmentation ,hopefully will speed it up a little, also depends on what programmes you have, delete programmes that you do not need.if all fails maybe look at upgrading the memory?
So you on webmail Em? With a well-known ISP?
Why don't you use a client/pprogram on PC/Laptop? Much better TBH : )
Why dont you download Firefox....its much easier and faster

AB yes to both, not sure what client programme is but have a dig around,
tambourine, load firefox first, do you then have delete anything, IE, im not a whizz around tech matters, and the last few days have been a bit of a challenge,
KJN not even sure what that is, is it something already on computer?
did full scan a week ago, have very security on it, so i was told,
but this half screen is a relative new one on me.
memory seems to be sufficient.
Question Author
if i download firefox, do you do that first, and then uninstall IE? or just leave it there what happens to all e mail, all saved messages, i am scared to really dig around, change things in case it goes belly up?
Just leave it em10, I did.
Question Author
well i have managed to install firefox, but i really don't know what happens next. The only way to currently look at webmail is through IE, as said i don't want to make a terrible mistake and delete all e mail, etc. Wish i knew more. Even following instructions doesn't to get you the info you need.
time for a rethink
Question Author
trt i have uninstalled firefox, i seriously don't know what i am doing, will probably have to contact the ISP about these various problems.
