since we have moved house, we cannot print from our apple mac using our printer we had before. usually we use wireless . do we need to reinstall or do something else? should we have to just because we have moved? we cannot remember if there was a disc originally with the printer. what do you think the problem is. the wording comes up as not recognising anything there basically. the printer and the computer are not communicating.as we cannot find a disc i wondered if you could find the software online to download for free if need be. the printer is a Lexmark Pro800 which prints copies scans.

Have you changed your router?

Your mac and printer will have communicated through your wireless router.

If you have changed that, or changed the broadcast name or password (or both) it wont work and needs to be set up again.

yes we have changed the router. but we dont have the disc or cant find it amongst all the boxes!

we are still having problems. we have downloaded the software as we cant find the disc, read the instructions and now it says, insert disc, ahhhgghh! what can we do?
