I have had to restore my PC to factory settings. Apparently I need a passkey to match my Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 to my Acer Aspire Notebook and I don't know it. Can anyone advise, please?

I have to go out now but will be back sometime today....grateful for any help!

Sorry....tried that
Do you have a "no passkey" button to click on when it prompts you?
Question Author
No... presumably because the mouse had been successfully paired originally with this laptop...but I have no way of knowing what was used

Hooray.....I've done it. Just found another button beneath the mouse beside the on/off one....pressed it in firmly and the mouse flashed red and green. The drivers were installed automatically and the mouse started to work again.

I can't believe I've actually got it working again but hope that this info will be useful in the future if anyone else needs it.
