Music disappears from iTunes

Hi guys,

I download and upload whole albums into my iTunes and they are all located in a folder on my desktop.

It's the selected folder in my iTunes.

But I find some songs go missing. Fro example I downloaded a triple CD album (60 songs on the album) but I now only have 54 of them.

Any ideas as to why this happens?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's getting annoying having incomplete albums.

Are you sure they are missing and not just 'misfiled'?

If the title info is different Itunes files it in a different location i.e. further up or down the list. This has happened to me before.

Well I sort it by artist, album, alphabetically etc but still find some missing
