Systems restore

Hi, Hope someone could help me, I need to do a System Restore on Windows 7. It's only allowing me to go back a couple of days, I need to go back at least a week and the 'show other dates' checkbox does'nt help either. Anyone know what i've got to do?? Many Thanks

If that's the earliest restore point showing that's the earliest one you've got, nothing you can do to change it.

Though why do you want to do a system restore, they are rarely necessary.

Oh really? I've got some Malware from a dodgy download and keep being re-directed to a web page i don't want to go to, it's so annoying. I know I can do a system restore to factory settings, so will i need to back up my i-tunes to a usb stick first? Thanks for the help
