LCD TV - blotchy picture
4 Answers
I recently bought an HD LCD TV. I notice (usually on dark scenes) the picture can be quite blotchy. A quick bit of googling refers this to 'light bleed'.
Is there anything I can do setting-wise to improve this? I'm connecting to the TV via my Sky plus box using an HMDI cable.

In general, the pricier "big brands" have better quality digital processing software which usually leads to better picture quality, including blacker- looking blacks. Usually sets boasting high contrast-ratio have blacker-looking blacks and whiter whites.
