Stop the Button Clicking

Sorry not easy to describe but is there any way of stopping the clicking sound on the keypad, its the only button that makes and noise and annoys OH when he is having an afternoon nap .... its the 'bottom left' button that does everything. Thanks all !

My OH uses the same button on her laptop when playing Minesweeper... the incessant clicking drives me nuts. Relegating her to the shed at the bottom of the garden helps ;-p

snags and trimeresurus --- that's the one ! How do I stop the clicking ? Ratter I have to press it, or I can't use the computer ...

Mine is still stiff (christmas) so had sore finger every day-got a mouse now

Thanks all, but I rest the laptop on my lap (that's why its called a laptop !!) and I couldn't find a place nearby for a mouse. OH will have to suffer, and he's just dropped off again ... I will have to log off. Quietly. :)
