Texting abroad

Hi, does anyone know if I can just send a text to Australia with the normal text number, or do I have to add numbers like when using a lad line. Thank you.

Are you sending it to a UK phone that happens to be in Australia, for example a friend on holiday? If so then just use the normal number as if they were still here.

If it's an Australian phone then you'll need to use the international dialling code and the mobile number. The code is 61 for Australia so you would need to send it to +61<mobile number here>
