I am looking to upgrade from my canon film SLR to the digital Canon 350D SLR. Can I use the lenses that I already have for my film SLR. Are they compatable with the digital SLR?

Yes, a Canon AF lens for a 35mm SLR is compatible with the Canon digital SLR range. However, because the sensor in the 350D isn't the full 35mm frame size, a 28-80mm lens is no longer 28-80mm. I'm not explaining this very well, have a look at http://tinyurl.com/6cfvv
