IE STOPPED WORKING

I have a fairly new computer and for the last few days I keep getting a message telling me that Internet Explorer has stopped working, and it will close this programme and let me know of any solutions. I go back to my home page and everything is fine and I never get any information as to why this has happened. I cannot pinpoint anything that I am doing at these times that might cause this and wonder if anyone has any suggestions.

Is it IE9? You say your computer is new - has it finished getting all its interminable downloads yet?

IE8 is not working for me either. I get the following message

Search the web with Bing

Have you set your compatitability mode to show all web sites in compatitability mode . Click on tools click on compatitability view settings and set it there. Try this and see if it helps you

Reinstall IE if you are sure PC is clean and have done a full scan with AV and Malwarebytes.
Otherwise you are wasting your time ... and ours.

You THINK you are up to date with all downloads? Either you know you are up to date because you checked in the Control Panel or you most likely aren't up to date.

sir.prize. That message sounds like you are trying to visit a website that doesn't exist. Check the spelling of the URL.
