Problem recording since the switch-over.

Is anyone else having problems with their digital DVD player/recorder, since the switch over?

The other night I programmed a programme to record on a different channel to what I was watching, I noticed that although the timer was set it failed to record, when I switch to the channel that should have recorded, it started to record.

The next day I decided to re-tune the recorder, then set it to record and everything worked fine, I then set it to record another programme, once again everything was fine.

But last night having missed the first showing of Downton Abbey on ITV, I set it to record Downton Abbey on ITV + 1, while I watched something on another channel, once again it failed to record only when I switched to ITV+1.

I am at a loss, can anyone please help me?

I once again re-tuned my DVD recorder and also my TV's digital channels also the Freesat channels, and touchwood I managed to record a number of programmes without any bother.

Keep thinking this is an almighty balls up, we are due to have the digital installation soon, and hear nothing but problems with it.
