How do I find out where a call is from if the number is not knowen to me. The start of th number is 0208433

Its probably the "cantar " company. they have hundreds of complaints against them, they appear to be market research people, and won't take no for an answer.

Without more digits all you can tell is that it's from outer London, but that may not narrow it down fmuch or you.

I am just guessing that its nuisance calls, and its that crowd " cantar" who have also been phoning my mother, who is 90.( same telephone number) they are very pleasant and want to ask questions about the local community, but she has only lived there for a few months and explained that too them, but they persist in calling again and again, but never when I am there, or they might get some info they didn't bargain for.

BBC Worldwide, based at Wood Lane, Shepherd's Bush has a phone number stating with those digits (020 8433 2601).
