Printer help REALLY needed!

I have just bought a Kodak hero 5.1 printer and so far I have been able to scan, print a test page etc.... but if I try and send anything from my PC (Word doc) to printer it spools for a bit then chucks out a blank paper. Troubleshoot is useless and their contact team aren't answering.

I really need something printed tonight and it is driving me mad, thanks in advance, hope someone can help!

Have you got the manual? there must be an FAQ about printer not printing.

Yes looked at the manual and the cartridges are in ok as the test page if fine. It doesn't even show the document in print preview, I have no ideas now, I've turned everything on and off as well.

Have you installed the correct printer driver?

Does your PC recognise the printer? ie Can you see the printer on the list of printers when you select print?

Try converting to a pdf maybe?

If the test page prints OK but the printer isn't printing but doing something then it does sound like you've installed the wrong driver.

surely print preview would still work tho?

^^ No. Print Preview firsts inspects the printer driver to get some basic information such as colour or B/W, duplex, margins etc. The fact that Print Preview doesn't work either is definitely indicative of a corrupt or incorrect printer driver...
