kindle

i have just got the latest slimline kindle and have managed to get lots of books on it, but after sorting them into collections under each author, i am now wanting to put them in order to be read as a lot of them are in eries. Can anybody tell me how this can be done. Its driving me mad!!

If you go into the collection at the top of the screen it says

Showing x items - Move the curser to there and then to the right and you can change listing to
Most Recent First (Meaning when Purchased)
Title (Alphabetically)
Author

If you select Author I believe it list the books in order of publication newest first.
