KOBO e-reader

I have been given a KOBO e-reader which I can use with WIFI to log on to the web but I am conscious that it does not have a firewall. If anyone has downloaded a firewall onto this type of e-reader I would be grateful if you could tell me how to do it.

Hiya Donnart.. we have a KOBO, and don't think you need a Firewall, if your getting stuff from your own router at home, or an internet cafe, for instance, they should already have a firewall in place, so it should be safe!! Good aren't they! Mrs Crisper xx

It doesn't need a firewall, it's not capable of running the services a firewall protects.

Many thanks for the advice much appreciated, I have only downloaded free books at the moment but do you think you can buy them from Amazon to download or will I have to buy from KOBO?
