e mail pics

One particular person sends mre various pics by e mail which always arrive as a white box with red square , no picture, unable to open them by right click and open picture, any ideas AB ERS, please?

You don't say what e-mail client you are using. is it web based EG gmail or hotmail? or is it your service provider, (the peeps you pay to access the net) this might help drill down the problem

Most email programs automatically stop the pics being displayed. This is because if the pictures are downloaded, it confirms your address is active should the email come from a spammer. There should be an option to turn this off, or at least allow the pics to be downloaded for that particular address.

Yep, agreed. Do you use Outlook, or Outlook Express to view emails as images can be enabled and disabled? If not, is it another program (please specify) or webmail as suggested by Joanne?
