Further to my previous question :

http://www.theanswerb...4.html#answer-6593953

I pressed the yellow button and wrote down everything I have to do to retune. As well as a digital TV I also have a DVD recorder which I bought at the same time, a couple of years ago, they are both Panasonic and both have Freeview. Will I have to re tune my DVD recorder as well, and do I follow the same steps as the TV instructions to re tune ? Thanks everyone, sorry I'm a bit dim when it comes to technology and no-one else to help me except ABers ! Please answer in a simple way otherwise I will have to ask again !

Yes, do a full scan on DVD recorder as well.

Do I use the same instructions as for the TV gingejbee ?
Yes, you'll need to retune both devices.

No, we can't give you precise instruction without the model numbers.

However I'll tell you how I retune my Freeview box (because most devices are reasonably similar):
Press 'Menu' on the remote control.
Press the Up/Down buttons until 'Setup' is selected.
Press the 'OK' (or 'Enter') button.
Use the Up/Down buttons to select 'Auto Tune'
Press the 'OK' button
Use the Up/Down button to select 'Replace existing services'.
Press the 'OK' button.
Brew a cuppa while the retuning process takes place.
Job done.

Chris
I have the same stuff as you (both Panasonic) and you will be told on-screen when and how to do the re-scanning. Smurf - stop worrying!!
...and it's pretty much as Chris has said....
