Hi
Can anyone recommend a good compact 35mm film camera with flash. I have been looking at the Nikon F100 but it is a little bulky & also v expensive by the time buy the lense & the flash. Can you also advise on any good internet film developers as there are not many left!

Thanks

This isn't really an answer but I'm intrigued as to why you want a film camera rather than digital?
Possibly because there is much more skill in taking photographs via film rather than digital and the results are better.
I'd rather have the OPs answer if it's all the same. Even if it's the same.
Maybe the Op would just like an answer to their question :-)
If they give me the information I requested, I may be able to give them one ( if you'll pardon the expression).
I know there are people who still say that film gives getter results than digital but as technology increases and functions like film reproduction simulation become added to a cameras features, the gap is narrowing. The benefits of being able to see the shot instantly and being able to manipulate it with software must surely outweigh film in any way. I have a Fuji which replicates their Velvia film extremely well. If the OP was going to to develop the film themselves and was talking about SLRs rather than compacts, I could go some way towards seeing some reason in the request.

The answer is believe it or not I just miss being able to send off my film & seeing what comes back! I end up taking loads of digital photo's, spend ages choosing which ones I want, then never seem to get the time to print them out or send them off to be developed. My husband has a fantastic Nikon camera but then gives me 300 pics to choose from after a holiday. I know when I had a film camera I always had photo's developed straight away. I have been looking at the Canon sure shot 180u, what do you think of that one?
Look for a good used Nikon F401X, when I got one it supplanted all my other Nikons for general photography. They are v cheap nowadays.
I`ve got a Nikon F401s which is still in the back of the cupboard because I`ll never get rid of it. It`s a good entry level SLR. The only complaint I had with it was that it didn`t have a facility for a cable release. It was very versatile though. Aperture priority, shutter priority, fully auto and fully manual. I had a couple of Nikkor zoom lenses with it. You could do anything with it.
