Why do I have so much trouble finding stuff on the internet?
Even IF I have found the site I am looking for I can't find the information I need.
Bloody bloody bloody internet.
Oh well moan over... Now all I need to do is find the guidance notes for the Gift Aid form :(

Do you know about using double quotes with Google?
e.g. searching for 'english setters' (without the single quotes) will find pages that simply contain the words 'english' or 'setter', whereas searching for "english setters" will only look for the two words paired together.
Double quotes also force google into only returning results which have the 'quoted' search terms in them. So searching for this line (without the single quotes):
'poem Auden clocks London'
will find pages which simply contain some of those words. Whereas searching for this line (again without the single quotes):
'poem "Auden" "clocks" London'
will only bring up pages which have both of the quoted search terms within them, plus possibly one or both of the others.
Do you know about using the minus sign in Google, to exclude certain terms?
For example, if you're looking for a potter in Cambridge you might choose, initially, to search for
'potter Cambridge' (without the single quotes).
However (frustratingly, if you're trying to find someone to make you a pot) you might end up with lots of pages about Harry Potter films and events in Cambridge. So you should then search again for
'potter Cambridge -Harry'
or
'potter Cambridge -"Harry Potter" '
Do you use your browser's 'find' function to look for key words?
Press Crt and 'F' together, then type in the key word you're looking for. If it occurs more than once, keep hitting 'Enter' to move to the next occurrence.
It's easy really!
