We keep getting calls at work asking to speak to a mr golding. Been getting them for years and they stopped for a while but seem to have started up again. The number is always witheld and i dont know who the company is but i am guessing its debt collectors. Every time i say there is nobody here by that name, never has been and ask them to remove the number from their system as its a business number - which they never do.

Today they asked if this was the telephone number for 77 ******** road. That isnt our address but our office does back onto that house and is owned by our office landlord who rents it out. Currently nobody lives there and according to him nobody by that name has ever lived there. Is there anything i can do to stop these annoyng people calling? Already signed up to TPS but it wouldnt make a difference anyway as they withold the number.

Any suggestions?

Tell them that Mr Golding has moved to x address, x telephone number and that you would appreciate them chasing it up as they owe you money too (happened to us with himself's ex-business 'partner') worked a treat. You will have to be careful what number and address you choose though.
who are you with Evian

If BT, I believe they have a number for nuisance calls, I'll have a quick look but if anyone knows it, then could they pass it on
+44 0800661441 and talk your case through with them.
Can your switchboard/telephone system block withheld numbers?
