About four times a week I receive emails encouraging me to win money by gambling. At least that's what I assume they do as I don't open them. The title of the mail doesn't vary, but the email address of the source is different each time. Through Hotmail I can "sweep" the communication, which identifies the source and can block each sender. Is it possible to block the emails through the title, thus shutting them out entirely? Thanks.

Anyone who uses Outlook Express can delete a message at the server before it reaches you. In OE just key on 'Message' and set up your own rules on how input destined for your computer can be handled.

I've got a spam filter on my email, all this sort of stuff goes straight into my spam box, along with all the invitations to buy Viagra and meet Oriental ladies. I just empty the bin daily.
I don't get the oriental ladies or the gambling junk - this is discrimination!

I do get lots of banks etc. telling me I need to update my account, and recently, "Amazon" are telling me an order has been cancelled, also a courier saying they have a failed delivery.

So maybe someone somewhere in Africa loves me...
ooh, I've had some them too, venator - are you forwarding them to me? :-)
Haven't won any big lotteries, or been chosen to help get hold of an unclaimed fortune - perhaps those people have found a new wheeze...
I will if you like, boxtops - just post your bank details, credit card numbers and passwords in order to verify your entitlement <]:-)
I keep getting a bloke called 'Max Gentleman' who wants to make my pencils bigger .. at least I think that's what it says ...
