words with friends

i am trying to play word with friends on my laptop via facebook. My friend can play it but when i try to join it wont let me. How do i get it on laptop?

I don't use Facebook but it might help others if you told us how far you get with your attempt to play the game. (i.e. What goes wrong? What error messages, if any, do you encounter?).

when she invites me to play, i click the game it comes up but then nothing else happens and the screen freezes

That sounds like Flash Player might be crashing.

Follow my instructions here, to uninstall and then reinstall it:

Also try clearing your browser's cache:

And use a decent browser, such as Firefox or Chrome. Words With Friends is known to cause problems with Internet Explorer.
