Before the recent upgrade there was a facility to 'delete all' in the Trash box. I can't see it now (and have just spent ages deleting individually because i'd forgotten to do it for several weeks). Is it still available, and if so where do I find it please?

I don't know about your version but in mine if you right-click on the Trash label it brings up a drop-down menu, one of the options being to empty trash, which deletes all.

Another method is to click on the first item in the box then with the shift key depressed click on the last. This will highlight all items in the box so you can just click on delete.

Thanks Mike. This time (for once - I usually forget) I'd remembered to try right-clicking, but had chosen the Delete button to click on, not the Trash. Both your suggestions work perfectly.

If you only wish to delete certain items then click on the first one then with the Ctrl key depressed instead of shift click on the others one by one. This will highlight only the selected items so you only need to click delete once.
