Hi - What is the difference between m3u and pls playlists? I have like 40-odd albums on my pc sorted into seperate folders per album - Is there a program that can create seperate playlist files and store them elsewhere...?

yes you can save playlists anywhere you like, winamp uses m3u and you can put them anywhere you like on ur drive(s)
