Surely your DVD player is a digital device and is able to read digital media.
Well a DVD is digital, so a a digital copy of a DVD is a DVD
I thought a digital copy was a copy that you could download so you own a copy on PC as well as the actual disc
DVD = Digital Visual Device......... Your answer is in the name of the film/player ☺
It depends on the machine which did the copying, and the type of disc used.
Most DVD recorders have a "finalise" option which makes the DVD playable on other machines, BUT RAM DVD's don't do this, and need to be played on players which accept them. The instruction leaflet, and often a sticker on the player, usually tell you which type can be played.
"DVD = Digital Visual Device"
Actually it's Digital Versatile Disk
