missing tv channels

I know the technology section is mainly for computer or internet problems but I can't find any other area in which to put this problem. I have two lcd televisions running from one external aeriel plus a booster. Each tv has a freeview digibox/recorder connected to it and all have been working quite well until recently when I can no longer recieve itv 3.4.5 and some freeview channels. I have tried retuning them but if they do come back they are "pixcellated"? and are unwatchable. I put this down to a weak signal but it doesn't happen wih BBC transmissions. I must add that I live in NE England and that my area is the last for the switchover in September. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and I look forward to your input.
