Hard to say without seeing it.

If you check the applications and processes you have running by launching 'Task Manager' (by pressing the alt ctrl del keys simultaneoulsly) it will show you how much memory your CPU is using. But yes, I am suspicious of the pop-up.

Run or download some AV software, spyware, malware, adware, and tune-ups. Very easy stuff! Go to www.download.com

it says high cpu usage on internet explorer turn off explorer and then turn it back on comes uo nearly everytime i go on laptop
