Anyone any ideas why my sky+ box might be playing up? It says I have only got one input and it is refusing to record programmes. Is it anything to do with the new layout, etc or do I need to get someone in to look at it? Thanks

The first thing to check then is going to be that both cables from the dish are connected to the back of the box OK.
also, if possible and safe, check the two connections to the dish. With all this rain and wind it's possible there is a poor connection there

Pretty sure only one cable comes into the house and has a HDMi connector on the end. I will get himself to bring his roof ladders home from the shop and send him up on the roof when it is dry (fortunately the sky dish is only half way up the house).
The cable(s) that comes from the dish will have a F connector on them.

The one with the HDMI connects the sky+ box to the TV.

Thanks Chuck, I will wait until it stops recording what it is meant to be recording and I will have another look.
Switch the box off, pull the power lead out of the back, and remove the card. Wait a couple of minutes. Put the card back in, put the power lead back in and switch it back on. It may take a little while to come back but all should be ok when out does.

Thank you Chuckfickens, one of the leads had come out of the sky box, all fixed and working properly now.
