My E:\ drive should contain only mp3s but it also has 11 folders with names like 763217c588618ddb67799af153e92d. When I get inside these 'empty' folders I find they contain a 50MB+ anapplication called MRT. What is it and can I get rid of it?

IS your c drive starting to get full?

They are normally rollback files from windows updates, they would normally be on the C drive unless it's getting full.

(errrm, how can a "empty" folder contain anything BTW?)
Perhaps system files are marked to be hidden from the user ?

I drag the cursor over the folder and I get the message 'Folder is empty'. Once I get permission to open the folder I find this is incorrect. However, from now on dragging the cursor over the folder reveals the contents correctly.

'Properties' reveals a lot of stuff I don't understand and a colourful icon that says MS DOS.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.
