Return to the first properties screen, select netbeui for dial up adaptor, go to properties then bindings, bind it client for microsoft networks.
Then go to tcp/ip for dial up adapter, go to properties, bindings, unbind it from client for microsoft networks.
The reason for this is if you unbind tcp/ip without first installing another protocol, the microsoft client will disappear, netbeui is used because it is non routable, i.e it stays local to your PC.
Having done all that, download zonealarm from zonelabs.com and head over to grc.com to check if it has all worked.
