Earphones

I wonder if anyone can help with this question. I seem to go through sets of in ear earphones very quickly. Each set will work fine for a while then the sound will go in the right one followed some time by the left one and that is them finished. Is there any way to resolve this or is it that these earphones have a (very short) shelf life? Alternatively is there anything I can do to prolong the shelf life of these earphones ?

are you pulling the wires too much? or catching the wire on things causing it to tug? I use marshmallow earphones which despite my best efforts at being clumsy still work fantastically well.

I've had some of mine for years.

You're not storing them with things that might damage them, maybe?

Do you wind the cable around the player when you're not actually using them? Stop doing that, and they'll last a lot longer.

lol - i have the same problem ( the ones you shove inside your ear )
