Am I the only person who is totally disinterested with Facebook & Twitter? I have no intention of signing up with either or posting my private business for all to read.
How about having a poll? For Facebook/Twitter or against Facebook/Twitter.

I don't get the disdain that some folk have for these social networking sites. No one cares if you use them or not.

It's not stupid; I understand that Twitter and FB are not for you.
I'm just not certain that a 'Poll' would actually answer any of your questions.
Both Twitter and FB certainly do offer people platforms from which to 'over-disclose' but at the same time they are both accessible and immediate ways to keep in contact with people.

I don't know why so many folk have attacked the idea of a poll - the figures would be on interest to at least two ABers (DSJ and me), and at the same time would be treated with the usual reservations attaining to such polls. Certainly no less interesting than car servicing or winter motoring preparations IMO.
Personally I have registered with both, but have never tweeted, and only very rarely use Facebook.
