Remote Control

Can anyone help me, I have a Samsung TV Model LE32R73BD, I am having problems with the remote control, It will not operate the sound or the brightness.
As any onbe got any ideas what the problem could be.

I have a Samsung TV and sometimes some of the buttons work and not others. Samsung advised me to take the batteries out, then point the remote at the TV while holding down the Red power button. Keep your finger on the button for 3/4/5 minutes and then replace the batteries and see if it works properly now. Always works for me.

Hi Ladybirder, sorry for delay in answering, I tried several times until my finger went numb, sorry to say had no success.
How did you contact Samsung, I would like to discuss this with them..

Oh sorry it didn't work but remember it if you suddenly can't change channel or Mute doesn't work as it may come in useful. The number I called which was some time ago was 0870 or 0845 - 726 7864. It's supposed to be a 24 hr Helpline I think. If not googling Samsung Helpline should do it. Good Luck.
