Hi, I have got a two disc CD that I want to rip onto my laptop, so that I can transfer it to my MP3 later. The laptop rips CD1 with no problems, but will not rip CD2!!! Doesn't matter what I try it doesn't recognise CD2, so will not rip it!!! Has anybody got any ideas as to how I can overcome this problem? Many Thanks.

Say "if I bring a few bevvies round, can I borrow your desktop, please?"
Take booze, CD and USB flash drive to friend's house.
Attempt to rip the CD on his/her computer.
Listen to CD while getting slightly sozzled.

Or, to put it more simply, try a different computer!
;-)
Assuming CD2 plays ok and isnt foobar, try a different app to rip it and see if that works

or get something like audacity and just record it

Theres tons of free software, to do both the above , google is your friend 1
