Paypal Issues

WARNING !
Big IT failure at PAYPAL this morning and late last night.
If you have paid via paypal for anything , it will have failed and shown error to say failed to make payment. IT HAS worked ! and payment was made.
Thus you try again and end up paying again !!!!
Many thousands being hit by issue.
So check your paypal account for double payments.
I made a payment of £366 twice this morning.
Contacted seller and he has refunded extra £366 payment I made.

Seems issue has been resolved at Paypal , but they some serious housekeeping to sort out now ....

Used Paypal twice yesterday without any problem. Maybe just lucky?

It seems like the issue was this morning and not last night.
Been reading the ebay discussion boards and a few people are being hit by the glitch.
The paypal phone lines are saying average call wait time of 93 minutes ....lol

Gotta love Ebay and Paypal- I moved recently to using neither unless I absolutely have to, ghastly companies to deal with.

This is interesting, cos the other day for the first time I ordered some make up online and it said pay by paypal which I do not have, I emailed the company who said ignore it just on on with the payment and the visa popped up, so I paid with visa(I hope) Today I got an email from paypal asking me to reaffirm my email, so I have ignored it because I didn't understand it.
