Ive asked this question before but still have same problem. Whe i log on to xp on the only account set up. I try to install Real One Player but keep getting the same message. ''You currently do not have Administrator access to the Windows Registry. Please see your System Administrator to install Real Player''. I have even set up a 'tester' account with administrator but still cant install. Any ideas greatfully received

It's possible you have some malware on your computer that has altered your account from administrative to limited. The following might work.

Start in safe mode (switch on computer and tap f8 key until the safe mode screen shows) and log on using the safe mode administrator account.

Run any antivirus and spyware programmes you have.

In safe mode, set your usual account to 'Limited' then return it to 'Administrative' then reboot.
